OK, I think I got what you're asking? Here are my thoughts:
If you notice the female "mom" she, behind her pectoral fins and forward of her anal fin, her body is slightly depressed or slightly inverted . This is often overlooked as hunger etc. However, the stomach of the fish is located a bit further forward than the depression I'm talking about. Anyway, the depression is very strong evidence that she has slung eggs within the last few weeks and has yet to restore fat and egg tissue for her next spawn. This obviously indicates, aside from obvious guarding, has fry or eggs somewhere.
The other thing, maybe the only thing, I think you were asking is "are those two fish pictured the same species." IMO, there is no way Either one of those fish is a "Black Comp" and, moreover, they both look like "Red Fins". The "Father" is in full spawning coloration while the mother looks colored down as is expected for a post-spawning Alto.
If you haven't pulled them already I'd wait until they're noodling around the shell opening and maybe even until you see a few around the tank. I have found that the notoriously hard to raise fry of altos are much hardier the later I pull them. Hope this helps.
