Well, just as the topic says, how do Labs do with plants? I have a 90G tank with yellows and Burundi, all real small right now so I would like to decorate the tank a bit, and give them all someplace to hide. Any inputs would be great.

Plants are most likely going to get shredded. Even though both fish are not herbivores they will most likely destroy plants.

Mine don't even get along with my fake plants. I need to anchor them under a rock otherwise they get dug up and pushed around.

None of them really mess with the fake plants. Would love to plant the 90G, just think it would look awsome. But I guess it is "their" home so the will decorate as they see fit, lol

the problem is that when they mature it is in their instinct to dig a pit to breed in. This is why you see them diggin and digging. They are trying to build up their own territory by digging out a hole.
