Its been a few years since I kept fish and breed fish but Ithink Im doing something right because I just picked up a beautiful trio of acei's up on friday and I got a female holding already YA Hoo!!
I also have a yellow lab holding that I got the week before, and pretty sure a pair of very nice snow white scofilia(sp) are doing the dance regularily so should be holding soon as well.

Time to get the growout tanks cycled. th_38326493.gif

Going tommorrow to pick them up th_38326493.gif . I found a good deal on a fish room!!! 1-65gal, 2-55 gal, 3- 35 gal, 1- 30 gal, 2- 20 gal, 4- 10 gal. With Most of them have HOB filters, all of them have sponge filters, heaters, lids and some lights and a stand for the 65 gal and the 55 gals,a air pump to run everything, plus all the extras we keep around the fish room, just happened to be someone getting oout of it as Im getting back into it!!
Picked up a trio of sp.44 tonight from a local breeder and 1 of the females had a mouthful ready to spit! so I have a pile of fry already!

Igot 2 more set up last night, a 65 gal. and a 2 foot 30 gallon breeder. I going to use the breeder for raising fry. I think I am going to move my sp.44's over to the 65 gal. and find some more tank mates for them. Any suggestions for tank mates that will not hybredize and co exist well?
